Professional Development Program Details

Santa Fe PBW recognizes the accomplishments of young, upcoming leaders and provides them with professional development skills and opportunities. By participating in this program, young women and men professionals will gain skills in the following areas:
·        Public Speaking
·        Networking
·        Effective Communication
·        Negotiation
·        Advocacy
·        Business Etiquette
·        Overview of PBW
Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and learn from local professional women. Many of our members will be presenting on the above topics, and program participants will be paired with a mentor to mentor them through the program.
The 2012 Young Professional program consists of three training sessions, the award ceremony, and follow-up reflection. Below are the dates and tentative times.

Saturday, February 11th      9:00am – 2:00pm        Session 1
Saturday, February 25th      9:00am- 2:00pm         Session 2
Tuesday, February 28th       3:00pm -  7:00pm       Award Ceremony
Saturday, March 3rd            11:00am- 1:00pm        Session 3

Participants of this program are invited to attend professional development sessions which will assist them in developing skills in professional communication, public speaking, networking, advocacy, negotiation, and more. As a result of participation in this program, participants will have developed and improved necessary skills needed to succeed in business today as well as develop a personal network of successful career women in Santa Fe.
